Up And Over

Chris MacClugage, a world champion personal watercraft rider from Lake Havasu City, spent the day Wednesday unlike most residents around the city. MacClugage, along with a crew from the Discovery Channel, were busy filming for an upcoming episode of a new show called Stunt Junkies. The episode, which will begin airing its episodes sometime early next year, features MacClugage jumping over three houseboats in the Bridgewater Channel near the London Bridge. With speeds near 60 mph to make the jump, aerators were located at the other side of the ramp to ensure as smooth of a landing as possible.

News-Herald Photo/L.J. Frink MacClugage can be seen in the upper right corner of the photo easily clearing the distance.
