The grounds at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, above, were dotted in red, white and blue on Saturday in anticipation of Memorial Day.
London Bridge Resort Owner Tom Flatley, members of his staff, and a few of their family members, used Armed Forces Day to place 650 patriotic-colored flower bouquets at the graves of veterans.
he arrangements were purchased from Memorial Silks in Ohio, and each one came with a 3-by-5 inch American flag. The owners of the cemetery agreed to allow the flowers to remain at the graves through July 4.
