Adam John Palisin Jr.
April 23, 1947 – June 20, 2009 Adam John Palisin Jr., 62, passed away June 20 in Lake Havasu City. He was born on April 23, 1947, in Providence, R.I.
Adam served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era. During the six years he spent in the Navy, he was a Navy Seal and a Fuel Analyst aboard the destroyer, USS Canberra. For 22 years, Adam worked at Havasu Regional Medical Center as an R.N. in surgery. He previously worked in Dialysis, ICU/CCU and pediatrics in many hospitals during his career. Adam leaves behind his beloved wife of 31 years, Patricia Palisin, of Lake Havasu City; daughter, Mary (Jose) Palisin Bonilla; brother, Ernest Palisin Sr.; sisters, Ida King, of Carbondale, Colo., and Faith Gordon, of Miami, Fla.; two grandchildren, Brandon and Isabella; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam John Palisin Sr. and Faith Eileen (McCormack) Palisin and three brothers. Funeral services will be held Thursday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the London Bridge Resort King Arthur room. Graveside services will be at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens Friday at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Havasu Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, 101 Civic Center Lane, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403. Adam was always a very loving and generous man who enjoyed helping others. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
