Iola Mae Ward, 91, passed away on Wednesday in Lake Havasu City. She was born on Aug. 16, 1917, in Burney, Ind., to Lloyd and Mae (Champ) Pumphrey.
Iola was a homemaker, raising a son. She enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church.
Iola is survived by her son David Face and grandson Nathan; she had four brothers and one sister and nieces, Ruth Offutt and Carol Theobald.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m., at First Southern Baptist Church with Deacon Leroy Smith officiating.
