Rodolfo “Rudy” Trejo, 81, passed away on June 26 at his residence in Lake Havasu City. He was born on July 17, 1927 in Los Angeles, to Santiago and Margarita (Gonzales) Trejo.
Rudy moved to Lake Havasu City 19 years ago from Santa Fe Springs, Calif. He graduated from Marshall High School in Hollywood, Calif., and worked as a ceramic tile setter in Los Angeles for 40 years. Rudy proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, World War II. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church.
Rudy is survived by his loving wife, Ellen L. Trejo; sons, Rudy A. Trejo, Phillip A. Trejo, Michael J. Trejo; daughters, Margarita C. Oster, Maria L. Wimer, Elizabeth A. Trejo and 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel today, 6-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., with Father Sylvester Modebei officiating. Military honors will be presented by the V.F.W. Post 9401 and American Legion Post 81. Burial will follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.
