Duana C. Jones, 56, passed away peacefully at Southern Baptist Church on Saturday. She had been fighting ALS for seven years. Duana was born July 8, 1952 in Rochester, Ind.
Duana was a wife, a mother, but most importantly a beautiful friend. She married her wonderful husband, Rene, Nov. 12, 1977, and they had a daughter, Angie.

Duana moved to Lake Havasu City 18 years ago and worked for Bank of America in Lake Havasu City. Her sister Dee and best friend Carolyn supported her throughout her illness.

Duana is survived by her husband, Rene; daughter, Angie Jones; sister, Dee McFadden, all of Lake Havasu City; brothers, Halvin, Harry and Harold Jr., all of Indiana; and uncle, Edwin Clements, of Townsville, Australia.

Donations can be made in Duana’s name to the Arizona ALS Association, 4643 E. Thomas Road #1, Phoenix, AZ, 85018-7740.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
