Winston Scot Bunting

Beloved husband and father, Winston Scot Bunting, suddenly passed away Tuesday, at the age of 55. He was born on May 3, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio, to Robert and Louise (Buiting) Bunting.


Winston was a special person to everyone who knew him and devoted his life to everyone he met. His life was spent promoting the love and appreciation of all types of music and generously sharing his life philosophy.

Winston moved to Lake Havasu City 35 years ago from Fremont, Ohio. He is survived by his soul mate, music partner and wife of 27 years, Joni; his loving and devoted sons, B.J. and Daniel Bunting, both of Tucson; his father, Robert Brooke Bunting, of Fremont; brothers, Shannon Bunting, of Michigan, Jim Bunting, of Fremont; and sister, Betsy Borchardt, of Eugene, Ore.

A Celebration of Winston’s Life will take place at the family home, 3660 Clearwater Drive, Friday, from 7 to 9 p.m. Friends are welcome to come by, greet the family and share a story or two.
