Sept. 10, 1935 – Oct. 2, 2009

Judith Annette Weible passed away Oct. 2. She was born in Jonesboro, Ill., to Harry & "June" Renfro on Sept. 10, 1935. Judi married Lynn Navin on May 3, 1952, in Piggot, Ark., living in Illinois and California in subsequent years. Judi married William Weible Dec. 7, 1963, and lived in Southern California until her move to Lake Havasu City in 2003.

Judi is survived by both Lynn Navin and William Weible. She is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Null, and Debra Short; brother, Burnell (Pam) Mainer, of St. Charles Mo.; daughter, Michelle (Don) Beck, of Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.; sons, David (Ruth) Navin, of Lake Havasu City, Glen (Diane) Weible, of Eagle, Idaho; grandchildren, Kaitlin and Kelly Beck, Todd and Christi Weible, and Kimberly Zweiger; nieces, Patricia Banze, Amber Cook, and Amanda Hartman; and nephew, Justin Short.

Judi was one of the original strong independent women of her day, and her lifestyle told this story. She worked for Northrop Grumman in California from May 1961 to December 1990. Most weekends found her at the Colorado River, Lake Havasu and the surrounding desert for recreation. Judi was a member of Saddleback Church for many years and was baptized there Sept. 24, 2000. In her younger years, she enjoyed off-road and over-the-road motorcycle riding and was an avid bowler and dart player. In later years, after her move to Lake Havasu City, she was a member of the Elks club, loved going to the Senior Center in Lake Havasu City. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching classic movies. She always loved boating on Lake Havasu and socializing with family. She will be sadly missed.

Close family members on Lake Havasu will attend a remembrance memorial in early January. The family asks that in memory of Judi, donations be made to Hospice of Havasu, or the Lake Havasu Senior Center.
