The fifth annual Chillin’n Swillin Beer Festival took off Saturday afternoon at Lake Havasu City’s Rotary Park ball fields.
This year’s event featured 16 vendors — many of them representing several breweries — and the home brewers competition.
For many it was an opportunity for beer lovers to unite, like Pablo Castell, left, and Chip Campbell, right, who said it was their first year attending the beer-tasting event. “It’s awesome,” Campbell said. “We love beer.”
All proceeds from the event will go to the Boy Scouts, the Stingrays Swim Team, and scholarship money for the Parks and Recreation programs and the K-12 Foundation.
