The Western Welcome Club of Arizona’s annual Holiday Boutique is showcasing a craft and bake sale this weekend.

The club currently consists of about 210 members. There are 25 crafters in the group who begin creating holiday crafts in February of each year in order to be ready for the holiday boutique.

Coffee and cookies will be available for shoppers during the sale.

The club’s yearly charity events include two Bunco events, a casino night and the holiday boutique.

As much as $20,000 per year in proceeds generated from the events are donated to local charities and organizations including Hospice of Havasu, Special Olympics and Lake Havsau City Parks and Recreation’s youth programs such as Kinder-swim.

Western Welcome began in 1971 and was originally designed for a camaraderie outlet providing a place for local women to go and meet other women.
