Elizabeth D. Soden, 94, passed away Tuesday in Lake Havasu City. She was born on July 22, 1915, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Leroy and Bernice (Hamblin) Cook.

Elizabeth became a resident of Lake Havasu City 17 years ago, moving from Sonora, Calif.

She is survived by her sons, Julian Girard, of Lake Havasu City, David Girard, of Fresno, Calif.; brother, Leroy Cook, of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister, Frances Beighley, of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and 14 grandchildren.

Elizabeth will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Alvarez, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Covina, Calif., Friday at 11 a.m.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
