This was the scene on Arizona Avenue in Parker Thursday. The festivities surrounding the BlueWater Resort & Casino/Best in the Desert Parker 425 off-road race included the “Downtown Experience Show & Shine.” This event allowed all the racers from the time trials to show off their vehicles during a street party. Many vendors were on scene as well as a live band. An estimated 2,000 people showed up to party, which was on Joshua Avenue. Right, several race trucks and buggies lined up on Joshua Avenue.
