Charles Scrabeck
Aug. 4, 1960 — Dec. 22, 2009

Charles, 49, went to take his place among the angels Dec. 22 with his mother at his side.

Charles was born in Jacksonville, Fla., to mother, Nelmar Nell Sahf, of Lake Havasu City; father, Charles Scrabeck of Medford, Ore.; and stepfather, Bob Sahf, Brainard, Minn.

Charles has three brothers: Robert Sahf, of Owatonna, Minn., Richard and Rodney Sahf, of Lake Havasu City; a sister, Rhonda Beetz, of Lake Havasu City; and many uncles, aunts and nephews.

Charles went to the day program at New Horizons; he loved to bowl with Special Olympics, go fishing, play bingo and play the penny machines in Laughlin. He loved watching all sports on TV, especially wrestling. Charles was definitely his mother’s “baby.” He was a little boy in a man’s body.

We are given many gifts as we go through life, some we are allowed to enjoy for a long time, others only briefly. But each gift has the power to change us, enrich us, to make us better people. There is joy that we had such a person to love. Charles was truly a miracle.

Lake Havasu Mortuary handled the arrangements.

Services will be at a later date.
