Susanne Philonease Lindsey, 24, passed away Dec. 23 in Phoenix with her family and friends at her side. She was born Dec. 24, 1984, in Duarte, Calif.

Susie moved to Lake Havasu City in 1995 with her family. She enjoyed living in Lake Havasu City and graduated from Desert Tech in 2004. Susie also loved spending time out on the lake. She was active in softball and loved being in the band at Lake Havasu High School. She loved her family, her friends and her pets. Susie also enjoyed writing, watching movies, listening to music and hanging out with her friend. She also loved her purple hippo clan and her Leapy.

Susie was a loving daughter, wonderful sister, and a loyal friend.

She is survived by her mother, Gloria Lindsey, of Lake Havasu City; father, Chester Lindsey III, of Duarte, Calif.; brother, Chester Lindsey IV, of Oakland Calif.; sister, Sandra Robertson, of Lake Havasu City; and her aunts, uncles and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home Saturday at 3 p.m.
