Richard Ray Hapsburg passed away Dec. 19 in Lake Havasu City. He was born on Feb. 2, 1943, in Saint Louis, Mo., to Ruth and Ray Hapsburg. Richard was a longtime resident of Yucca Valley, Calif., before moving to Lake Havasu City in October 1990. Richard owned a successful heating and air conditioning business, which originated in the corner booth of Uncle Kenny’s Café until he retired in 2004. He enjoyed boating, fishing, camping, woodworking and four-wheeling in the desert.
Richard is survived by his wife, Georgianna Hapsburg, of Lake Havasu City; son, Robert Palmer, of Smithfield, Utah; daughter, Janine Arrunategui, of Canyon Country, Calif.; son, Ronald Hapsburg, of Port Angeles, Wash.; stepdaughter, Danielle Mercado, of Fullerton, Calif.; and stepson, Bret Nielson, of Lake Havasu City.
