Kenneth Lawrence Calvi passed away Jan. 14, in Lake Havasu City at the age of 62. He was born to George and Rose (Pecora) Calvi on April 15, 1947, in Melrose Park, Ill.

Ken, as he was known to his family and friends, moved to Lake Havasu City five years ago. He loved to golf, fish and go gambling in Laughlin. He was a barber for 45 years and he loved to have “good conversation” with his clients. He leaves behind Joe and Susan and all the great gals at Hair Cartel.

Ken is survived by his daughter, Nicola Bissell, of Hot Springs, Ark.; father, George F. Calvi, of Lake Havasu City; brother, George J. Calvi, of Lake Havasu City; and three grandchildren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by family and friends and is now free to join his beloved son, Christian, who he never got over losing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose Calvi; son, Christian Calvi; sister, Mary Ann McKelvey; and grandparents, Nick and Martha Calvi and Frank and Mary Pecora.

A small gathering will be held Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the home of his brother, George, at 149 Wayfarer Lane, Lake Havasu City.

Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
