Jim Zimmerman, 73, of Hot Springs, Ark., died Feb. 4, at a Little Rock hospital. He was born July 25, 1936, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Henry Herschel and Ruth Esther (Lane) Zimmerman. He was of the Presbyterian faith. He was an Air Force veteran, member of the Elks Club, Moose Lodge and American Legion. He is predeceased by a son, David Lane Zimmerman.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Joyce Zimmerman, of Hot Springs; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jeffery Dean and Callie Zimmerman of St. Louis Park, Minn.; and Phillip Howard Zimmerman, of Bellevue, Wash.; a daughter, Julia Ann Zimmerman, of Iowa City, Iowa; a brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Linda Zimmerman, of Summerfield, Fla.; and two granddaughters, Zoie Zimmerman and Maddie Zimmerman.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lake Havasu City.
