Ethel Louise Clark

Ethel Louise Clark passed away Dec. 7, 2009, in Lake Havasu City at the age of 79. She was born to Ernest and Grace (Sprague) Clark Nov. 23, 1930, in Battle Creek, Mich.



Ethel made Lake Havasu City her home in 1990 from Glendale, Calif. She worked as a registered nurse for White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, Calif., for 45 years. She was a volunteer at the library for 12 years and the Mohave County Registrar back when each city had their own registrar. Ethel was very fond of animals especially cats.

She is survived by a lot of dear friends including Eileen Powell, Rita and Greg Schmidt, Jim and Dee Neff, and Glen Hansen and his sons.

An airplane scattering will take place at Split Rock Lighthouse on the island, Saturday, at 2 p.m. Following the scattering, a reception will be at the Mohave County Public Library from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

The family has requested all who want to attend to RSVP with Eileen at 855-7684.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ethel’s name to the Western Arizona Humane Society, 1100 Empire Dr., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86404.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
