Lake Havasu City Police Department SWAT officers arrested two men Monday night after two narcotic-related search warrants served simultaneously uncovered heroin, marijuana and methamphetamine, the city said Tuesday.

Brothers Juan Graciano, 22, and Fernando Graciano, 27, both of Havasu, were arrested on felony charges after the search warrants served at residences in the 800 block of Chalon Drive and 2800 block of North McCulloch Boulevard revealed their alleged involvement in a drug-dealing case.

The department’s Special Investigations Bureau investigated the suspicious activity surrounding the brothers for about one month prior to the arrests, the city said.

On Monday, detectives seized a total of 9.2 ounces of black tar heroin, 9 ounces of marijuana and 1.6 ounces of methamphetamine. The heroin has an estimated street value of $26,000, the marijuana an estimated value of $1,300, and the methamphetamine $4,500, according to the city.

The two Graciano brothers were charged with possession of narcotics for sale, possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of narcotic drugs, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both men appeared before a judge Tuesday morning. Juan Graciano is being held on a $175,000 bond and Fernando Graciano is being held on a $150,000 bond. They were transferred to the custody of Mohave County Sheriff’s Office in Kingman.

    " Had it with Havasu:

From your barstool, it seems that money should always be seized in drug arrests. After all, they seize stuff on television.

Typically, if a dealer has a lot of drugs, he has little money, as he has just refilled his inventory. If he has a small amount of drugs at the time of arrest, there is usually a lot of cash around, as he has sold his inventory.

This is basic stuff! You can ask your bartender, and I am sure he will verify what I say.

But, we do not need a lardas* like Arpaio to run this city totally bankrupt. He can keep his fat assistant, and his press conferences in Phoenix, where they seem to be appreciated by the local drunks in Sun City.

Did you used to live in Sun City? "

Just because some of us here respect and support our police department who by the way caught some people breaking into storage units the other night while on patrol and several people were arrested and choose to disagree with the way you think things should be done don' t make us bad people. Our police do a darn good job keeping our town safe. Just think that could of been your storage unit calhav. or o'really. I suppose your next cry will be they arrested these people incorrectly and they are innocient. "

can't wait to hear how you thik this is happening? where do you get your information? Yes it was a month long investigation I've seen some take even longer then that, So what all of a sudden makes you the authority on how a drug investigation should go down?
Don't see you working on our task force. But hey if you seem to have a better idea lets hear it. LMAO yep all you cry babies have a better idea did ya all work for GE at one time or another? "

Just because we support our community and appreciate our public servants, does not make us ignorant or dumb. We just don't agree with you. We live in Havasu for a reason, you live in a California for a reason. Pretty simple really. "

You try to talk sense into her but she just won't get past her opinion. So eventually you go hang with the guys, find out that there are a lot more people in the world that appreciate reality and you move on. Like every ex wife out there , some fool comes along and thinks shes great. Oreally can have her. Two going on three years of her and she still hasn't figured it out. And then there is northbound. If they want to be taken seriously, they should go about it the 'legit' way - letter writing, public forums, etc. Whining on a forum is not civil disobedience. And yeah, this is for entertainment only. Look at your posts! Stop throwing stones...keep drinking, keep watching your tv soap operas. You need it. Might keep you more entertained than coming on here stirring the pot. "

And have all learned their lessons, Don't do stupid things and you won't get arrested or cited. I think thats pretty much what NB and GET have been trying to tell people here for a long time. But calhav and oreally and a few others have this idea that once Clyde is no longer there whom ever takes his place will do no wrong in their eyes that is. "

Driving under the influence...illegal!! I'm thinking you watch MSNBC and not Fox. I'm thinking you don't have kids. The reason I say the last is you haven't got a grasp on the difference between right and wrong. You will always be a victim of the system...I will pray for you!!! " Well, since this is an anonymous forum with no accountability, just because you say you have a purple heart, does not make it true. But if you do, congrats. So you will remember when the Nam Vets returned and instead of being applauded were spit on and disgraced? They should have been applauded as heroes, yet they were not. Sounds kind of familiar here. Because of a few misguided people's mindsets, (and an anonymous forum), mud is being thrown on public servants. Sad. But those who support their city and hard working community members will continue to do so and time will tell.... "

Obviously your business is tied to tourism; I'm pretty sure all of Havasu is. There are laws and if you break laws you pay the price. Who made you above the law? Were you that kid in school that thought it was stupid to get a detention because you were late to class or parked in the no parking zone? Chief Doyle has calmed the PD down and is thoroughly concerned with our tourists enjoying their time at the lake. Obviously, you don't know him or are one of those people who will always kick and scream because you have no life. Get a life and hopefully that will come with a new zip code! I'm sure I have more years than you in this town...move on money hungry ignorant sole!

LHCPD...great job on busting these guys. I didn't realize until recently that Heroin was the new drug of choice. Keep up the good work and hopefully we can generate revenue from Cal/Hav for running his mouth more than allowed and wanted! "

From the GITEM website: GIITEM maintains a 1-888-NO-GANGS (1-888-664-2647) tip line, where callers can leave information anonymously.

GIITEM understands that only by working together “WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE”. For those of you who think gangs were not involved...one word...H E R O I N. And one more really important question... Estimated value of $31,800 and no cash was seized??? Please-Please-Please let's contract law enforcement from the MCSO! "

BTW getoeverit, I do not advocate drug use, I advocate the POLICE follow the law and should not arrest or ticket innocents just so the city court can make a profit as the cop with a badge said was his priority.

...and for you information, portugal stopped enforcing drug laws and drug use and drug related crime has dropped (as reported by john stossel on fox business yesterday) "

" Arizona needs to take steps to decriminalize drugs like everyone else.

Forced these people into rehab and stop locking people up and crowding the courts with this nonsense, its like making a mountain out of a mole hill.

If states took rational steps toward these problems we would not be in such a dire fiscal situation.

In most states there are women who were raped 5 yrs ago and still haven't had the DNA evidence READ, but we have enough cops out on the road to arrest 1.5 million/yr for DUI.

Once you glorify law enforcement and demonize your neighbor, the system creates its own industries and becomes a financial vacuum. "

" WOW Northbound- $31,000 in street value. Ahhh is the PD going to sell it for the money? In a neighborhood of 50 to 70,000 dollar houses houses Probably rented so could luck seizing that. Plus they have to be convicted first.
So about $22,000 for Fleet Priced Patrol, $150 Ea for spotlights , Side airbags $ 360, add about $12,000 for Radios, Partitions, Lighting, CDT, Emblems
So Far they are negative $3000 on the Purchase of tha Police Car. NB That doesn't count the cost of a SWAT Team, Man Hours, The Cost of your behind @ the Counsel , DA, Clerk, Investigators, Jailer, Room and Board at the old HAVASU HOTEL and Resort

Labor Day 2009 Alone brought in about $5500 in Citations. Pure Profit and that was a slow year. So 6 good weekend Nets just as well. So TEL ME AGAIN HOW THIS WAS A MONEY MAKER FOR THE CITY. We're talking about guppies here not big fish.

As for the Neighboorhood Block Parties. The City in 2002 would not even listen to it's own employees about problems in the City. Even when it went to the press they blew it off. You think they care what Tourist and Vacation Homeowners have to say.

That exactly what they should be doing. But how much income is that bringing the City. A BIG FAT Zero so they continue to chase the toursit with bogus Citations and aereola patrol. The reason the don;t concentrate on stuff like this is that it is not revenue producing. Just think. 1 mooring ticket, a no wake ticket, and a bogus 28 mph in 25 zone will bring in enough income to pay overtime for 1 officer . Now which makes the most fiscal sense. They could spend everyday busting meth freaks in crack heads in Havasu. They are about as common as politicians in Washington. Ask any Cop. Or Dispatcher. "
