Dorothy Joan Liljedahl

Dorothy Joan Liljedahl, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday at her home in Lake Havasu City with her daughter by her side. She was born on Oct. 29, 1922, in St. Paul, Minn., to Carl and Florence (Augnier) Ritchie.

Dorothy moved to Lake Havasu City six months ago from Canby, Minn. She worked as a candy maker for Pearson Candy Co. Dorothy enjoyed watching TV, playing cards, gambling at the casinos and traveling. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Flo Lusk of Lake Havasu City; grandchildren, John Lusk Jr., Dottie Stewart; great-grandchildren, Amanda Lusk, Delaney Stewart; nephew, Mike Ritchie and nieces; Joann Hansen, Barbara Noyes, Sharon Cavanagh and Carol Schulz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Liljedahl; brother, William Ritchie; grandson, David Lusk and son-in-law, John Lusk Sr.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dorothy’s name to New Hope Hospice, 500 N. Lake Havasu Ave. # B106, Lake Havasu City, AZ; 86403.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
