James (Bass) Bassarear
March 27, 1928 – Feb. 27, 2010

James (Bass) Bassarear passed away Feb. 27, in Denver, Colo. Jim was born March 27,1928, in Spencer, Iowa.


He served in the Navy, was a master electrician and regional sales manager for Milwaukee Electric Tool Co., in Denver until his retirement. He enjoyed his retirement in Lake Havasu City playing golf with his many friends and his wife.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy, of Denver; his children, Jim (Susie), of Florida, Janell (Rich) Rollins, of Beaverdale, Iowa, Jeff, of Urbandale, Iowa; his brother, John, of Utah; his step-daughters, Christy (Donald) Angell, of Golden, Colo., Kathy (Doug) Miller, of Snohomish, Wash.; five grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life open house will be in Denver.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Collier Hospice Center (Dragonflies), 3210 Lutheran Pkwy, Wheat Ridge, Co. 80033 in Jim’s name.
