Pete Hoppa Jr., of Lake Havasu City, formerly of Crownsville, died suddenly March 2.



Pete was born Sept. 27, 1971, in Baltimore. He graduated from Old Mill High School.

He was an avid Ravens fan and loved his puggle, Sam. Pete had a passion for animals, loved to golf and kayak and fish on the Lake. Pete started his own company, Point of Sale Supply. He not only took pride in his business, but truly relished the friends he made along the way.

He is survived by his wife of three years, Sybilla Matzat Hoppa; his parents, Peter Joseph Hoppa Sr. and Margaret A. Hoppa; one brother, Jason L. Hoppa; grandparents, John and Lorraine Fogler, of Delaware; and many relatives and friends.

Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, Cecil Ave., Millersville Saturday at 1 p.m., followed by a celebration of his life at Gambrills Athletic Club.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the ASPCA, Catholic Charities, or Gambrills Athletic Club.
