Captured prison escapee John C. McCluskey, 45, was transported to Kingman Regional Medical Center Tuesday morning after he reportedly cut himself in the neck and wrist area with a Bic-style plastic razor, according to Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.

McCluskey’s lacerations were serious however considered non-life threatening. The wounds were surgically sutured and he has since been transferred back to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman, MCSO said.

McCluskey is currently being held in alone in a single cell. He is also in the facility’s highest security level and being closely monitored 24 hours a day. McCluskey has been incarcerated in the county’s jail since Aug. 20.

    " Jabberwockies Uncle,
Suspicious 10 is far from "uneducated". The only one expounding "unequivocal gobbledygook" is you. What was written was known from the events in the hospital, not what came out of a rambling conspiracy theorist' mind.
You seem confused about what his fate should be. "

" Why was this criminal put back in Kingman to begin with, shouldn't he have been put in a more secure facility? Something is very wrong with this picture. "

" Ok Jabberwockies, I agree he should be executed immediately. I believe in the D/P. In my uneducated opinion, the officers and officials that were at the KRMC should have kept their very loud. cocky conversations behind closed doors so that "John Q Public" didnt hear anything and kept McClosky out of public view, " just sayin", If you were not there, how would you possibly know? The media is fed information, so it boils down to what the officials want the public to know......... "

" Suspicious10: Although we would all pray McClusky is getting what he so deserves at the hands of others, and as amusing as your uneducated judgment may be, let me be one of many to enlighten you of the unequivocal gobbledygook of your statement. This was in fact, McClusky’s way of testing the system. To learn exactly what, if any safety measures are taken, the routes used, number of officers present, outlay of jail facility, outlay of hospital facility - types of weapons carried etc. Clearly, this isn’t the last the public will be hearing of McClusky whom in my self-effacing opinion- should be put to death immediately. (After a quick vote from all the Victims family members of course.) "

" I believe that this may be false and incorrect information passed to the media to deflect blame in the lack of supervision in the jails and prison system. A murderer that escaped and then recaptured is not going to be given any instrument to hurt themselves or others without extreme supervision. More likely another inmate did the damage while the officers watched.... "
