Missing child located

Lake Havasu City Police Department has located the 12-year-old boy earlier reported missing.

Dane A. Schaller, 12, was located about 11:36 p.m. Monday, according to a Nixle.com alert notification issued by the department.

Schaller was initially reported as a missing child at 3:11 a.m. Monday morning after he failed to return from the movies with friends Sunday night, according to earlier reports.

Police department spokesman Sgt. Joe Harrold said there is no further information at this time other than the boy is “safe and sound”.
