Jeffrey Allen Baer, 39, of Scottsdale, died peacefully in his sleep Sat., Jan. 7, 2012. He was born Aug. 19, 1972 in Kingman. He graduated from Lake Havasu High School and Arizona State University.



Jeff is survived by his parents, Joyce (Ron) Hollis of Maricopa and James (Phyllis) Baer of Lake Havasu City; brother, Jason (Alyson) Baer; niece, Annika and nephew, Ethan of Bloomington, Ind.; stepsisters, Ami Hollis of Lake Havasu City, Debra Phillips of Cave Creek and Doreen Moschcau of Gilbert; stepbrothers, Jim Collis of Eau Claire, Wis. and Jerry Collis of Ft. Myers, Fla.; uncle, Lloyd (Charlene) Meyer of Omaha; three cousins, Cullen (Emily) Meyer, Brent (Abby) Meyer and Lara (Brian) Pefferly, all of Atlanta, Ga.; and his aunt, Jeanne Baer (Victor Lacy) of Lincoln, Neb.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Charles and DeLoris Baer and Allen Max and Florence Meyer, all of York, Neb.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 14 at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. MacDonald, Mesa.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jeff's name to the "Havasu Foundation for Higher Education Scholarship Fund," 735 Little Drive, Lake Havasu City AZ 86406 or www.havasufoundation.org.
