ASU at Lake Havasu scholarships available

Scholarships for Arizona State University at Lake Havasu are available.


Two scholarships, valued at $6,000 each, will honor the recently deceased Jeffrey A. Baer, who was a graduate of Lake Havasu High School and ASU. The scholarships are expected to cover the campus’s full tuition.

Scholarship criteria includes enrollment at ASU-Lake Havasu, Lake Havasu High School graduate, demonstrate leadership qualities and community service. Applications are available at: www.HavasuFoundation.org.

Mohave State Bank also donated $50,000 over five years to the scholarship program.

Havasu Foundation for Higher Education is trying to raise at least $1 million in scholarships to support students’ enrollment at the new four-year campus in Lake Havasu City, according to an HFHE press release. The campaign has raised more than $100,000, the release states.
