Four Lake Havasu City residents were arrested Friday after Mohave County Sheriff’s Office deputies wrapped up investigations into six burglaries that occurred in Desert Hills between January and March.
MCSO arrested 43-year-old AnnMarie Bowers, 31-year-old James E. Samons, 48-year-old Scott A. Burkett and 49-year-old Neil J. Huther at about 10:30 a.m. Friday after deputies conducted follow-up investigations on the six burglaries.
Investigations led to authorities obtaining two search warrants for two residences in the 3100 block of Joyce Lane. During the searches, deputies discovered a glass pipe and a plastic bag containing white residue that allegedly belonged to Huther. Several stolen items associated with the recent burglaries also were recovered. Bowers, Samons, Burkett and Huther were apprehended without incident.
Bowers and Samons each were arrested and charged with six counts of alleged burglary, six counts of alleged theft, six counts of alleged possession of stolen property, and alleged possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. All charges are felonies.
Burkett was arrested after a record check showed he had an active warrant for his arrest for failure to pay fines. Huther was arrested for alleged felony possession of drug paraphernalia.
Bowers, Samons, Burkett and Huther each were transported and booked into the Mohave County Dist. 3 substation, in Havasu.
