The Mohave County Sheriff’s Office has identified a deceased male subject who was found in Lake Havasu near a dock for boat rentals on the 1300 block of McCulloch Boulevard on Oct. 5.

According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, fingerprints from the body matched those of Hyok Kyo Chong, 52, of California. The Sheriff’s Office said Chong had been reported missing out of Los Angeles by family. Next of kin had been notified of the identification.

According to the release, there were no obvious signs of trauma or foul play, and the cause of the death is still under investigation.
