Lake Havasu City Police have released new information about the deceased male that was found on the Island last Saturday morning.

The body was found and reported to LHCPD just before 7 a.m. on August 31 near Site 5 in the desert area overlooking the lake, according to LHCPD Sergeant Tom Gray.

Police identified him as Bullhead City resident Duane Foster, 54. According to police, Foster had been driving a white Chevrolet pickup truck, and it appeared he had been parked in that area for less than 24 hours.

The investigation is still ongoing, but no foul play is suspected by police at this point.

If anyone has any information about Foster’s whereabouts prior to parking on the Island or saw his vehicle in the area, please contact Detective Michael Terrinoni at 928.680.5415.
