PHOENIX (AP) — Phoenix police say a teenage boy has died and another was wounded after shots were fired on a street.

Sgt. Maggie Cox says the incident happened Sunday around 7:30 p.m. Several callers to 911 reported multiple people shooting in the street.

Upon their arrival, officers found 17-year-old Isaiah Harris and a 15-year-old boy with gunshot wounds.

Both boys were transported to the hospital. Harris was later pronounced dead.

The 15-year-old's injuries were found to be serious but not life-threatening.

Authorities have not identified any suspects or a motive. The investigation remains ongoing.
