A holiday traveler was stopped by Lake Havasu City Police boating officers when he was allegedly seen operating a watercraft without a life jacket. According to police, that was the least of the trouble in which he would find himself.

Gilbert R. Conorquie, 28, of Northridge, allegedly told officers he had two beers at a Bridgewater Channel restaurant before operating his personal watercraft.

Conorquie submitted to a test of his breath at the scene, the report said, which showed a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.200.

Conorquie was transported to Lake Havasu City Jail to be booked on charges of OUI. There, officers said, officers allegedly found an ID card in Conorquie’s wallet that didn’t belong to him. Conorquie was charged with identity theft and OUI.
