Lake Havasu City Police Officers responded to a bar on Sept. 22 after receiving reports of disorderly conduct.

According to police, California resident John A. Johnson, 21, of Riverside, was detained by the business’ security staff after allegedly attempting to start a fight with another customer. Johnson was initially told to leave by employees, the report said, but allegedly continued to attempt fighting before verbally threatening security guards.

One of the security guards took a photo of Johnson for the business’ record of people banned from the property. According to the report, Johnson attempted to strike the guard who took the photo, and missed before being restrained in handcuffs by the bar’s security staff.

Officers took witness statements at the scene, and noted he displayed aggressive behavior toward the bar’s security staff and other customers.

Johnson was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and making threats, and was transported to Lake Havasu City Jail.
