Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Bullhead City business Sunday after receiving reports of a shoplifting in progress.
According to the report, 29-year-old Bullhead City resident Brianna L. Walton was witnessed stealing merchandise by store employees. When employees attempted to confront her, the report said, Walton left on foot.
Deputies found Walton shortly afterward near her vehicle, which was parked at the business’s fuel station. Walton allegedly denied stealing anything from the store, but consented to a search of her vehicle, the report said. The search allegedly yielded 1.4 grams of methamphetamine, 4.8 grams of marijuana, a syringe and an item identified as having been stolen from the store. Walton was arrested at the scene on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and shoplifting.
