Lake Havasu City Police boating officers responded to reports of a boat crash on the Bridgewater Channel Sept. 1, where an Oklahoma man allegedly collided with another vessel traveling in the opposite direction. Police say Jonathan Cross, 30, of Ada, was traveling north through the channel when one of the jets of his rented personal watercraft malfunctioned. Officers who spoke with Cross believed him to be visibly intoxicated, the report said, and a test of Cross’ breath allegedly yielded a result of 0.13%.

Cross was arrested at the scene on charges of OUI, and was transported to Lake Havasu City Jail to be held for court.
