Lake Havasu City Police officers were called to a McCulloch Boulevard hotel Sept. 7 after receiving reports of an alleged assault. According to the police report, the male victim was at the location that evening when a man later identified as Shaun H. Hoblitzell, 34, of Kingman, approached him. Hoblitzell allegedly struck the victim’s face, and then fled through a nearby golf course.
