Mohave County Probation officers contacted police Sept. 5 after investigating a Lake Havasu City resident who allegedly missed multiple drug tests. According to the report, probation officers went to the Jamaica Boulevard home of 31-year-old Joshua C. Pettid after he missed multiple urinalysis appointments and check-ins. Probation officers searched Pettid’s bedroom and found items of alleged drug paraphernalia, including glass pipes and burnt straws, suspected to have been used to ingest methamphetamine and marijuana. Police questioned Pettid, who allegedly admitted to owning and using the paraphernalia in his possession. Pettid has been charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
