A Lake Havasu City man was initially contacted as a suspicious individual, but ultimately was arrested on a felony warrant in Mohave County for failure to appear.

According to the Lake Havasu City Police Department, Kyle Jackson, 35, was identified as a suspicious subject when an officer observed Jackson standing alone in a parking lot on the 2100 block of McCulloch Boulevard at 2 a.m. on Monday with no cars parked nearby, and seemingly staring at a building.

After the officer made contact with Jackson, dispatch confirmed that there was a warrant out for his arrest.

A vape pen with a yellow liquid Jackson allegedly identified as THC oil was found on Jackson’s person. A search of Jackson’s two backpacks yielded more marijuana cartridges, multiple hypodermic needles, and heroine residue.
