According to the National Weather Service, dry conditions and breezy winds will create a high potential for wildfire today and Wednesday afternoon.

The National Weather Service declared a Red Flag Warning for the areas of areas of Northwestern Arizona, the Colorado River, Lake Mead and Las Vegas. Critical fire conditions are expected to develop late Tuesday morning through Tuesday evening, and continue throughout Wednesday. With gusts as high as 30 mph, and humidity below 10%, fires could spread rapidly throughout the region, the agency reported.

The Lake Havasu City area is expected to be at highest risk for fires this afternoon.
