Food Bank: Putting together Thanksgiving dinners

The LHC Food Bank started distributing its Thanksgiving boxes Thursday. Manager Colleen Mattinson said the food bank gave away 60 Thanksgiving boxes, complete with turkey, cranberries, rolls and all the fixings for a holiday feast. The food bank also provided their usual monthly grocery boxes for 56 families, and the Iron Horse Saints distributed all of the jackets they brought on Thursday. The food bank will continue giving out Thanksgiving boxes today, Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.Volunteer Frankie Hill reaches for a couple cans of corn while putting together a Thanksgiving box at the LHC Community Food Bank Thursday.
