The building that used to house Golden Corral is on the market again after a sale of the property fell through last week.

The former Golden Corral restaurant building at 550 S. Palo Verde Blvd. is back on the market.

It is listed at $1.5 million with Mohave Realty. Built in 2007, the interior of the structure is approximately 10,600 square feet.

According to Ashley Ballas at the local realty company, the sale of the property fell through last week. It has been for sale for about one year.

Hook is Better Business Bureau’s new regional director

The Better Business Bureau recently named Kryistyna Hook as its new regional director. She will serve as the organization’s key liaison to Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, Kingman, Parker and surrounding areas. Prior to joining BBB, Hook worked for Arizona’s Children Association, implementing marketing and media relations for a family support program in Mohave and La Paz Counties.

“I’m excited to stand with BBB to help promote trust and consumer confidence in our area,” said Hook.

Boat House Grill

The Boat House Grill is Havasu’s most recent addition to restaurant scene, opening about a week ago.

New eatery opens on the Island

The Boat House Grill opened about a week ago and is the newest addition to Lake Havasu City’s restaurant scene.

Located at the Islander at 751 Beachcomber Blvd., the eatery is open seven days a week and seats 130 inside and another 75 on the patio, according to General Manager Scott Brennan. The menu offers salads, seafood and a variety of sandwiches including burgers. It is open Sunday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and 7 a.m.-9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
