Lake Havasu City Police officers were called to the Bridgewater Channel July 28 after receiving reports that a man exposed himself to visitors along the waterline. According to police, 34-year-old Justin W. Meisner disrobed and made lewd gestures toward at least one family and their child under the age of 15, which led to a verbal altercation between the child’s father and Meisner.

According to witness statements, a friend of the child’s father – 53-year-old Darren S. Robinson, of Havasu, interceded before the father lost his temper. Robinson allegedly fought with the victim for several minutes until police arrived at the scene.

Officers arrested Meisner on felony charges of indecent exposure and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. A search at the time of Meisner’s arrest allegedly yielded a container of suspected marijuana.

Robinson was charged with one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. There was also a warrant for Robinson’s arrest on charges of failure to appear in court.
