BULLHEAD CITY— Two people were injured Saturday after their plane crashed into a hillside near Bullhead City.

According to The Bee, a news website based in Bullhead, a man was taken to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries. A woman had to be extricated from the wreckage and airlifted to a hospital in Las Vegas for treatment of serious injuries.

Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Allen Kenitzer told The Bee the Cessna 185 carried two people and crashed 1.5 miles southeast of the airport. No additional details were available at press time.
