A woman arrested in 2017 on drug charges was back in jail after officers allegedly found a marijuana joint in her vehicle during a traffic stop. According to Lake Havasu Police Department records, Bre Manning, 44, faces two misdemeanor charges of possession and marijuana and drug paraphernalia after officers pulled over a car on May 30. Manning was the passenger in the vehicle. The police officer pulled over a 1998 Buick on McCulloch Boulevard near Agave Bay after the driver allegedly stopped in the crosswalk of a four-way stop. While speaking to the driver, the officer said he noticed the smell of marijuana from inside the vehicle.
Manning allegedly reached down onto the passenger floorboard and picked up a half-smoked marijuana joint, saying that a man had thrown the joint inside the vehicle and that it wasn’t hers. She was arrested on the misdemeanor charges and booked into the Lake Havasu City Jail.
Manning was previously arrested on Oct. 24, 2017, when she was a driver of a vehicle that contained methamphetamine. As result of that arrest, Manning was sentenced to two years of supervised probation, which would have expired in September 2020. According to court records, she was sentenced on Tuesday to four months in jail for allegedly violating her probation.
