Monte B. Eikleberry

Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies were on patrol Oct. 23 when they encountered Kingman resident Monte B. Eikleberry, 46, in the area of Fort Mohave. According to the report, Eikleberry’s sedan was stopped at a red light, and its turn signal appeared to be broken. Deputies allegedly also learned that his vehicle’s license plate had expired two years prior.

Deputies stopped Eikleberry, who was in the company of a female passenger. Eikleberry was allegedly unable to provide deputies with registration for the vehicle or proof of insurance when asked. Eikleberry was also found to be driving with an expired driver’s license, and there was a standing warrant for his arrest.

Eikleberry was detained and searched at the scene. During that search, deputies allegedly found 4.3 grams of methamphetamine in one of Eikleberry’s pockets. No other illegal items were found in the vehicle, and Eikleberry’s passenger was released from the scene. Eikleberry was transported to Mohave County Jail without incident on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
