Lake Havasu City Police officers responded to a McCulloch Boulevard bar after receiving reports of trespassing. According to police, Scottsdale resident Casey C. Bills, 20, appeared to be visibly intoxicated when officers arrived at the scene. Officers detained Bills, according to the report, and found an ID card in his wallet whose photo did not match Bills’ appearance.
Bills allegedly became belligerent when officers attempted to question him about his identity, and refused to provide his true name and date of birth. According to alleged witness statements, Bills had caused a disturbance at the business, and shouted profanities at customers inside and outside of the bar until he was escorted from the location by security guards.
Bills was arrested on charges of refusing to provide his true name, providing false identification to a place of business, being a minor in possession of alcohol and disorderly conduct. At Lake Havasu City Jail, officers conducted a further search of Bills’ wallet, and allegedly found his real identification card within a hidden pocket.
