A Parker man is being held in the San Bernardino County Jail in for his alleged role in a child molestation case in Earp, Calif. Jose Mario Tavizon, 42, of Parker, was arrested Aug. 5 and booked into jail for lewd acts with a child.
According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, began an investigation into a possible child molestation in Earp on April 2. They said Tavizon was known to the victim’s family.
Tavizon was interviewed by detectives on Aug. 5. At the end of that interview, he was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center. He is being held on $250,000 bond.
It will be up to the District Attorney’s Office to determine if any charges will be filed.
