A Lake Havasu City man faces multiple drug charges after police say he was found with more than 19 grams of heroin. Jacob R. Olson, 21, was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of narcotic drugs for sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, five counts of sales of narcotic drugs and introducing contraband into a jail facility.

According to a press release, detectives from the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit have been conductinto possible heroin sales in the 2600 block of Tanglewood Place.

A traffic stop was conducted Wednesday around 4:15 p.m. when Olson was observed leaving the residence in a vehicle.

He was taken into custody and police said he was found to be concealing 19.1 grams of heroin when he arrived at the police station.

A search warrant was served at the residence and multiple items of drug paraphernalia were found, the press release said. According to the press release, Olson was held on a $5,000 cash only bond during his initial appearance and transferred to the custody of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
