Seen in Havasu: Pitching in to remove seagrass from Lake Havasu

Lake Havasu City maintenance worker Cortney Wolter uses a pitchfork Thursday afternoon to remove bundles of dredged seagrass from the shore of Bridgewater Channel. The cleanup of loose and overgrown seagrass in Havasu began with dredging operations last month, and now city workers are removing it from beaches throughout Havasu. They will be disposed of by Lake Havasu City Maintenance workers over the next several days.
