Seen in Havasu: Trying out fishing on a windy day

California resident Cam Miller, of Oak Hills, braves winds as high as 25 mph at Site Six on Monday, where she tried her hand at fishing. “It was too windy to take the boat out,” Miller said. “I’ve never caught a fish here, but I’m trying.” The National Weather Service declared a wind advisory for the Lake Havasu City area on Monday, forecasting clouds of dust throughout the region. Significantly cooler temperatures are expected today with high temperatures falling short of 70.
