KINGMAN — Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Golden Valley residence Tuesday afternoon after receiving reports of an assault. Deputies allegedly found the suspect, identified as Lake Havasu City resident Anita K. Warren, 58, lying on the ground outside when they arrived.
According to the report, Warren shouted for medical attention, while the homeowner stood on the other side of a gate on her property. The homeowner allegedly told deputies she had seen warren climbing the fence of her property, and told Warren to leave. Warren had allegedly entered the property anyway, and approached the victim’s residence.
Deputies say that when the homeowner confronted her, Warren shoved her and began to kick her. The victim and other bystanders removed Warren from the property, the report said, at which point Warren fell to the ground and said she needed medical attention.
As deputies took the victim’s report, Warren attempted to leave the scene, the report said. Deputies told Warren she was not free to leave, but Warren allegedly attempted to do so anyway, according to deputies. Warren was removed from her vehicle and arrested at the scene, then transported to Mohave County Jail on charges of assault, first-degree criminal trespassing and one felony count of resisting arrest.
